Erik is originally from Lodi, California. He attended the University of Hawaii for undergraduate studies before joining the Ryan Lab through the Ph.D. program at the  University of Southern California, where he is currently working on degree in Development, Stemcells, and Regenerative Medicine. Erik’s research focuses of the generation of multiciliated cells in the Airways.

Erik enjoys traveling and tries to get back visit California whenever he can.

Broke his collar bone twice in the same fall.
