Biography
I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Chennai, known as the "Gateway to South India." I earned my B.Tech in Biotechnology in Chennai before moving to the United States to pursue a MS degree in Medical Biotechnology. Following my graduate studies, I worked for four years as a Senior Associate Scientist in the industry. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology, and my research focuses on investigating the cell-type-specific expression of CFTR using human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) as a model system.
Outside of research, I enjoy working out and spending quality time with my two-year-old.
Fun Fact: I have never solved a Rubik's Cube!
