Lalit Kumar Gautam, PhD
Lalit completed his master’s degree from Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (India). Then he received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Panjab University (Chandigarh, India), where he worked on microbial enzymes for drug designing against them. Exposure to different research laboratories motivated him to explore his interest in the field of applied biology.
In Ryan’s Lab, Lalit is working as post-doctoral research scholar. He is investigating the mechanism which drives cilliogenesis in proximal lung airway cells. His project is on studying the critical regulatory pathways involved in cilia generation and beating. He holds good command over computational biology techniques and has some cool programming skills.
His hobbies include painting, reading, writing poetries, cooking, playing badminton and carrom. Lalit’s long-term goal is to continue a joyous academic research career in science.
